1) What kind of maids do you provide?
Local Aunties housewives as part time cleaners.
2) Do you provide foreign maids ?
No, we are not a maid agency providing live-in foreign domestic maids.
3)Do you have any foreign maids, as a part time cleaner? I think they are
faster and younger ?
No, Foreign domestic maids are not allowed to work as part time maids.
It is illegal. All our part time workers are 95% Singaporean , or a
Permanent Resident if they came from elsewhere.
CHARGES:
4) How do you charge for cleaning ?
For most apartments ,Once a week charges starts from 3 hrs @ $35,
4 hrs@$45, 5 hrs @ $55.Fortnightly is at minimum 4 hrs $45 if in
weekdays , but 4hrs $50 if in weekends fortnightly.
5) Do you charge in the same way irregardless of the house size ?
Areas larger than 1600 sq ft should have minimum 4 hrs.
6) Do you charge differently for landed houses ?
There is normally a surcharge of $5 more for landed houses .Much
fewer workers would consider doing a landed house than a simpler
premise, as such you may want to consider to pay more to get a
steady and sincere worker.If you are staying in a landed house
and have been trying to get a part time housekeeper to work steadily
with you, it is not difficult for you to understand the search is harder.
Work Types covered.
6) What are the works covered?
Housework only. Specifically these are the routine cleaning works to upkeep
your house .Sweep, Vacuum the floor, Wash toilets, Clean kitchen areas,
wipe down basic furniture like display consoles, tables , sofas.
7) Can I use your service to clean my windows only?
You are advised not to if this is your sole intention. Aunties cleaners in
their 50's are not suitable for high cleaning and windows cleaning.No
ladders should be used. Only extendable stick type windows cleaners for
cleaning windows should be used. Windows should scheduled out over the
weeks, or as and when required .
8) I see that you have a low processing fee and low minimum period
requirements,i wish to use for short term to just clean up the areas i have
no time for. I usually does my housework , so i don't need the auntie to
clean the floor , toilets but concentrate on those other areas like windows,
cabinets and dirtier and higher corners like in the toilets and kitchens,
Isn't this what your cleaner can do ? What are the works not covered?
It is not for Spring Cleaning. Specifically, this means quite a major clean
down for your house because you have not thoroughly cleaned it for
some time.Like Clear the storeroom, Clean all the high wall tiles, windows
and grilles , wipe all the inside and outside of all the cabinets, rub
away stubborn stains and grease and thick dust collected over months-
and all these within one- few sessions. Our aunties are not looking for
such one-off or temporary jobs. They may quit on you , and we will not
replace with another worker.You may end up paying processing fee $40,
plus the charges $35 0r $45 and had not had your planned spring clean completed.
9) How much can be completed ? How much time per session do i need ?
For typical 1000+ sq ft household, 3 hrs($35) include cleaning floor,
toilets,followed by either ironing one person's working clothes, OR, if no
ironing is required, then wipe down some basic furniture- all on a as much
as possible basis within the time limits, subject to your specific standards.
If you need ironing for 2 working person's clothes, it should be 4 hrs .
($45), 2 hrs for cleaning, 2 hrs for ironing.
For larger than 1500 sq ft, 3 hrs is expected for cleaning only. Where
Ironing is needed, you have to go for 4hrs session. You may need to have
twice a week,each session being a 3 or 4 hrs , depending on your floor
area, amount of cleaning , and ironing if needed.
Regularity of your engagement of our services:
10) If i cannot make it for some of the sessions, can i skip.
Our workers are looking for stable jobs for their family support. If you
can , reschedule the day/time during the week or make up an extra
session in the following week.In this way , the worker has a steady
income still.
11) Can I change the day/time of my weekly service as i wish?
Yes if this is only occasional,a few times in a year, or emergencies.
No, if this is what is expected to happen often. Workers have a time
table to follow. Your changes may affect her clients.She may have to
with other of her clients in order to accomodate your change, this
will affect her commitments to other clients.Worker may quit on you
because of this, and we may not replace you with another, because the
same problem that causes this breakdown may recur .
12) If i need to change the day/time, who do i call?
Call our worker directly. You 'll be given the tel nos. of our worker on the
first visit.
Payments.
13) How do i pay the worker?
Pay our company the weekly changes by handing the payment to our
worker at every visit. For companies who cannot pay at every visit, such
companies will have to send a cheque to us in advance before the
services.
14) Can you work out a monthly package for me ?
Sorry , we do not have monthly packages. All our charges are the same
per session, payable at every session, irregardless of the no. of times
per week. If you need the service three time, four time, or everyday per
week, charges are still the same , 3 hrs is at $35 and so on.

QUESTIONS:
15) How much is your Agency fee ?
Strictlly speaking , agency fee does not applies here, rather it is a
Processing fee, a one time $40.It is not to be mistaken to mean to
ensure you will get replacements because you have paid this processing
fee $40. Here at Flexi Home Services, we do not act like your recruitment
agency.We are a home services company.Please note the $40 processing
fee is strictly non-refundable for whatever reasons..
16) If i don't like the service, can i just stop ?
Yes you may stop giving the housekeeper one week's notice.
17) If I don't like the worker, can i change?
Yes, but we will need your feedback first. You 'd have to inform our
worker directly too. We will check for you if there is another worker
available who will meet your criteria and solve the issues you had with
former worker . Only if we have available worker would we be able to
replace.Note , replacements is Not guaranteed ,It depends on whether
there is one to replace and when a new cleaner will join us so that means
you may have to wait until such a suitable worker joins us.Replacement fee is
subjected to $10 per request .
19)i)Do I have to pay for requesting for a change of worker?
Yes, It is $10 per request for a replacement.
ii) If you cannot replace in time, do i get a refund ?
In case we do not have anyone to replace you at all, or fast enough, we are, NOT,
under any situations ,liable to replace you with a stand-in or temporary worker or
refund you. Ps note the $40 processing fee is strictly non-refundable for
whatever reasons.
iii)When do i NOT get a replacement when i request?
We reserve the right to turn down an unreasonable request for a replacement
worker.
iv)If i request for a change of worker, how long do i have to wait?Do you
guarantee a change ?
We do not guarantee there would be a change of worker by your next session, it
is entirely subjected to someone new joining us in your location and whom, we
believe will acede to your demands .This is important for you to undertstand that
we want to know what are the problems you have and try to improve when we
change a worker for you. As such , time is necessary.
v) If you cannot replace , can i terminate the service ?
Yes, You are free to terminate the service, if we have not replaced you in time.
Please let us know so we will not be on the look-out for you.
vi) What if your worker is not performing, and i have to pay the replacement fee?
Tell us how the worker is not performing, because we do understand her better.
In most cases, if relationships is good, worker is grateful for our feedback to her.
In case she is new under our company and we did realise she is not performing
through your valuable feedback , we will replace you.
18) If the worker quits, do i get a replacement?
Yes,It is normally available, but not under all circumstances .If the worker cannot
continue for her personal reasons, we will look out for a change for you, though
also subject to availability and waiting time, we normally can if you do not specify
strictly the day/time but can accept the available day/time slot of our existing
workers.
Ps note while we would normally replace if worker quits, we do not guarantee it
.This happens when we have assessed the situation and realised it is related to
the works you have demanded from our worker that she quits. In such case , we
mean the works may be too demanding within your specified time , or scopes is
not covered by us.In this case you may be asked to adjust your requirements for
replacements to be possible.
19) What to take note when you choose a Weekend worker over a weekday
worker.
Weekend workers are much fewer than in the weekdays, ps note,and as workers
are new under our company.Ps note that you 'd be assigned with a new
housekeeper , who is a housewife able to upkeep your place and do your ironing
just as well. Ps also note waiting time is longer for a replacement when she quit or
you are dissatisfied with her.This is generally because clients are more who need
a weekend cleaner , while workers available in the weekends is limited.We
recommend you try weekdays, morning or afternoons , where much more aunties
are available ,and honestly they have more actual housekeeping experiences.
These weekdays housekeepers have a schedule from Mondays to Fridays that we
may fit your place in.
20).I am always travelling , can i entrust my house keys with your workers?
We serve many executives too busy to stay home to be around for our cleaning
ladies , and they do pass their keys to the keeping of our cleaners. But ps note we
do not cover you the costs of any losses, thefts or liabilities. The handing out of
your premise is often done when the owner finds the cleaner honest and decides
to do so at his own discretion for his own convenience.
Other clients who prefer to have a cleaner with more housekeeping experience
has had to pass the weekday cleaner their keys ,since the client himself is not
available during the weekdays.When the client is not in , the auntie cleaner would
just visit and does her routine cleaning under a very mutually-trusting relationship,
which may takes a few sessions to quite a while to develop, all subject to both
client and cleaner themselves.
At the first visit, you are given the NRIC no. , adddress and home or mobile nos. of
the cleaner.
